Community Development Department
The Community Development Department consists of the following three divisions:
The Building Division is responsible for reviewing and approving requests for building permits in the Town of Parker.
Comprehensive Planning Division
The Comprehensive Planning Division develops and implements the Town's Master Plan and other long-term plans and programs that reflect the community's vision and that guide the future of Parker.
The Division also maintains demographic data on the Parker community.
The Division also provides staff time for the Parker Authority for Reinvestment.
Development Review Division
The Development Review Division is responsible for processing Land Use Applications such as requests for Annexation, Rezoning, Site Plans and Subdivision Plats. This Division also reviews sign permits, vendor and temporary use permits (PDF) and requests for variances from the Land Development Ordinance. Planning documents are available online and may be purchased from the Development Review Division for a fee.

Neighborhood Services Transitioned to Parker Police Department
As of Jan. 9, 2017, the Neighborhood Services Division has transitioned from Community Development to the Parker Police Department. Information about Neighborhood Services, which now includes Code Enforcement and Animal Services, can be found on the Parker Police Department’s website at www.ParkerPolice.org/NeighborhoodServices.
